Bao Chunlai had to withdraw from the second round of the on Thursday because of an ankle injury. The China Open winner from last week played only one game, which he lost to Malaysia’s Roslin Hashim 19-21, before shaking hands with his opponent. It is Roslin’s first win ever against the Chinese, and he could meet his younger brother Hafiz in the quarter-finals, should the latter win against Kenneth Jonassen.
