With the recent outburst and security problems, Kenya will not be able to host the qualifying stage of the . The African Confederation President, Raj Gaya, recently told the press that the CAB would hand over the organisation to Mauritius.

"We can not take any risks in spite of the Kenyan government’s reassuring statements. The players’ security is at stake," said Gaya.
