With the release of the new Badzine today, there are several shuttlers who have benefitted from the new world . In the men’s singles event, Eric Pang is now in the lead to make it to Beijing to represent the Netherlands. However, his National Olympic Comittee rules out any participation if he doesn’t make it to the semi-finals of the European Championships. Yet, according to the BWF list, he is in. He potentially takes the spot of Dicky Palyama, who will also be looking for a semi-final at the Europeans next month if he wants to make the trip to the .

Erwin Kehlhoffner from France takes the lead in the fraternal battle against countryman Simon Maunoury after his silver medal in Croatia.

In the men’s doubles event, the impressive run from Njoto and Wiratama in Birmingham last week puts them into postition for qualifying – Wiratama will just need clearance and his official Hong Kong passport should the list remain as it is. Poland’s Mateusiak and Logosz are out.

Last change in this week’s list : Simone Prutsch from Austria makes it back in the list, while Australia’s Huang Chia Chi moves out.

Some other changes are expected after the Swiss Open results are added this coming Thursday.
