Figures keep falling after the and India’s Saina Nehwal was promised no less that 2.5 million rupees, which is around 40,000 euros or US$57,000. The 18-year-old shuttler qualified for the quarter-finals of the Olympic Games and was promised this amount of money today by her Haiyana government as well as 6 other Indian athletes amongst whom was Vijender Singh, who got a bronze medal in boxing.
