The seedings have been done for the 2014 Li-Ning BWF World Badminton Championships and China, the only team that will be fielding the maximum 20 entries, has all but two of these among the seeds.  China also boasts the top seeds in 3 of the 5 disciplines going into the draw, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur on Monday at 11AM local time.

China’s only two-seed discipline is the men’s doubles, where Liu/Qiu are seeded 8th and Chai/Hong are 13th.  Men’s doubles defending champions Ahsan/Setiawan of Indonesia and two-time men’s singles runner-up Lee Chong Wei are the only top seeds not from China.

The only other team that will be fielding four seeds in any one discipline will be Korea in the women’s doubles, though Jang Ye Na is the only half of the 2013 runner-up pair who is among the 8 Koreans who will begin as seeds in Copenhagen.
