The Badminton League (NBL), which is the first professional club league in England, is well under way as 4 out of the 6 fixtures have been completed, the last one round of them having taken place last night in different places in the country. After 4 rounds, the Surrey Smashers led by Gabby Adcock, Carl Baxter (who beat Rajiv Ouseph last night) and Eefje Muskens are in the lead with 12 points.

Out of the 6 clubs involved, the top 4 after the last fixture on April 28th will be qualified for the final playoff on June 6th.
