A few weeks after the resignation of Misbun Sidek from the Badminton Association of Malaysia, another top from BAM has handed in his resignation letter as Wong Tat Meng accepted an offer from PBSI to join their squad starting next month. If Misbun’s case has yet to be cleared by BAM officials, the latter accepted Tat Meng’s resignation officially.

A source close to PBSI confirmed Wong’s departure from coaching Malaysia’s women’s squad, including Wong Mew Choo, to coach Indonesian ladies’ shuttlers while Li Mao will be in charge of the men’s singles squad.
