After local media were furious about his no show during the mandatory Press conference, China’s biggest badminton star Lin Dan showed up during the qualifying rounds of the Li-Ning to conduct a clinic together with Boonsak Ponsana for underprivileged kids living in Singapore. Lin Dan showed more patience than his compatriots the previous day during the Press conference and took some time to explain to his audience that it takes a lot of hard work to succeed but that it was good to furfill one’s dream. Lin also apologized for his absence at the press conference, mentioning that his stomach problems had also affected his daily training.
