Nigeria and South Africa bagged two titles each while Egypt came out with one gold medal, in the women’s singles event, at the Individual , held in Uganda, right after the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup qualifying stage.

Here are the results from the finals:

WS: Hadia HOSNY (EGY) bt Stacey DOUBELL (RSA) : 21-17, 21-12
