Wong Pei Tty will not be fielded in either the upcoming World Championships or the Commonwealth Games as it was announced by Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) today. The top doubles shuttler is suffering from an injury and the Malaysian staff vowed for her to get proper treatement to get ready for London’s 2012 Olympics.
The Malaysians were to be seeded 6th and hence, Singapore’s Yao Lei and Shinta Mulia Sari should then benefit from their withdrawal and enter the top 8 to be seeded in Paris.
