HEAD Introduces YOUTEK Technology in New Badminton Racquet Series

Power Helix^TM Infuses Spiral Technology for Increased Flexibility and Control

Kennelbach, Austria – August 2010 – HEAD has announced a new racquet series to join the diverse badminton product offerings.

The fastest sport just got faster with the addition of YOUTEK^TM in the new Power Helix^TM badminton racquet series. The racquet series introduces the Power Helix^TM shaft technology and Teflon^® grommets with the proven Metallix^TM material and Energy Body frame design.

Power Helix^TM is a unique spiral structure along the shaft of the racquet that allows up to 56 percent more flexibility than conventional carbon components, enabling players’ to generate an enormous power release for fast shots with maximum control. The Teflon^® grommets reduce friction between strings and the grommets to keep tension consistent across the string bed.
