Only few days after the big events ended in Paris (World Champs) and Saarbrucken (Bitburger), the are back, with its stars from all over Europe – young and old.

Greve, the title holder, was playing for the first time in a long while without Kenneth Jonassen, now head coach for England’s Men’s singles, but managed to beat one of their rivals – Vendsyssel 4/2, with an important win from old timer Jens Eriksen and newly retired Lars Paaske over Jonas Rasmussen and Simon Mollyhus.

Close win from Gentofte, which used to be Camilla Martin’s and Peter Gade’s club, over Lillerod 4/3 after the golden set while Gade and his team mates from Team Skaelskor Slagelse had an easy win over Ikast. Bad news for Vaerlose, who, in spite of their win, saw their best shuttler Tine Baun have to withdraw against Petya Nedelcheva half way through the second game.

Next matches are scheduled on Thursday, Septembre 8th.
