While the conflict opposing four top Dutch players to their federation and their , a group of Dutch fans has decided to take action and calls for an amiable solution to be found before the kick-off of the European Mixed Team Championships, on February 15th. If this fails, Eric Pang, Yao Jie, Dicky Palyama and Judith Meulendijks will not be fielded.

The letter, published today on the website www.badmintononline.nl, explains that a solution must be found in order for the team to stand a chance in a competition which is being held on their home soil. The letter, sent to the Dutch Federation’s sponsor, is called “The honourable thing to do”.
