The top Malaysian news agency Bernama has published a newspiece concerning the return of Misbun Sidek to the fold of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM).
“BAM president Datuk Mohd Nadzmi Salleh said Misbun had agreed to retract his resignation letter submitted on Dec 31, 2010 and accept a new contract to be offered soon,” reported the news agency.
If this in not an April fool’s trick, this is good news for Lee Chong Wei in his quest for a first title in the World Championships and in the Olympics, both held in England, where he has just returned from with a gold medal around his neck.
