Danish Badminton Forbund’s Director Charlotte Malmroes is sending a signal that Denmark wants to hold the for the next edition, either in 2013 or 2014 in an article published on the DBF official website. Denmark had last welcome the top flight in 1999 and  the Danish Association is ready to send its bid to host the event after the Olympics before the deadline for application next month.

It’s important for the Danish players to play on their home ground and to show, that their country can arrange a tournament like this. But it is also important for the clubs. It’s a platform for the clubs, where they have the possibility to show their players, that the best players of the world are coming to our country. It’s the clubs who raises the best upcoming stars,” said Malmroes.
