The third and fourth rounds of the Danish league are being played this week, with the 3rd round which kicked off on Tuesday October 4th. And the biggest surprise of the evening was the loss of the reigning Champions, Greve, who were beaten by Vendsyssel 4-2. Lena Frier with Camilla Sorensen beat her former women’s double partner Kamilla Rytter Juhl who was playing with Nanna Brosolat, but the biggest upset of this tie saw Lars Paaske and Kasper Henriksen lose to Overgard and Durkinjak from Croatia, giving Vendsyssel the winning point and avoiding the Golden set.

Another surprise saw AB Arrhus – who was playing in the lower division last year – taking the lead in the round robin phase together with TSS after their win 5/1 over Gentofte. TSS victory over Skovshoved was not expected to be that easy (5/1) but Hans Kristian Vittinghus performed above par by beating Jan O Jorgensen to put his team in a bigger lead.

The next round will be played this Thursday, October 6th.

The results of the evening:

Lillerod beat Solrod: 4/3
Team Skaelskor Slagese beat Skovshoved : 5/1
Vendsyssel beat Greve: 4/2
Aarhus AB beat beat Gentofte: 5/1
Vaerlose beat Aarhus : 5/1
