The Russian shuttlers won 3 out of the 5 available Gold medals in the recently held XI Italian International 2011 in Rome. Only Pablo Abian from Spain was able to disturb the Russian domination with a clear win in the men’s singles event over Ville Lang and Yao Jie from the Netherlands who beat Petya Nedelcheva to scoop the women’s singles title. Elsewhere, Nina Vislova and her team-mates cleaned the courts with all victories.
