Chinese shuttler Wang Lin wrote on her blog yesterday that she would not be travelling to Japan, but rather straight to Beijing after the ongoing China Masters. When asked by one of her fans what the reason was, the former World Champion hinted that the whole Chinese team may skip the tournament because of the recent political problems as the dispute over the small island chain in the East China Sea known as Senkaku in Japanese and Diaoyu in Chinese heated up this week.

If this turns out to be true, the Yonex would be losing quite a few of its seeded players.
