Greysia Polii and Meiliana Jauhari offically saw their ban lifted on Saturday by the Indonesian Badminton Association, two months before the original date as in September the body had given their women’s doubles duo a four-month ban. Association official Koesdarto Pramono says the ban was lifted after it had been initially reduced to three months on Oct. 22 after the players expressed remorse for their actions. Polii and Jauhari can resume playing for the upcoming tournaments while the four players from Korea are yet to make their return to competition – most likely in the beginning of 2013.  The fourth pair involved in the controversy, Yu Yang and Wang Xiaoli of China, were initially thought to be defunct as Yu Yang announced her retirement right after being disqualified by the BWF during the .  The pair has been entered in four tournaments since London, however, but did not show for the first two of these.
