There was a lone victory for Ireland as Scott Evans beat Lucas Corvee, after Chloe Magee lost out to the lower ranked Kjaersfeldt. The other matches on court saw a clean sweep by the Dutch in the doubles events.

The Dutch pairing of Barning / Muskens executed a simple victory against French opponents Fontaine / Lefel winning 21-12, 21-8 in only 27 minutes.

They were joined not long after by compatriots Arends / Maas who faced only a slightly sterner challenge in the form of Germans Schoettler / Zurwonne 21-14, 21-19 in another brief encounter.

Home hope Chloe Magee lost out to Line Kjaersfeldt in a tight game, having recovered from losing a very close first game 23-21 to take the second 21-18. However she was not able to hold out in the decider as the Dane reversed this score to win the third 21-18, in what was a great disappointment for the crowd.

Scott Evans however did not disappoint his home crowd however, as he powered to a 21-19, 21-18 victory over his French opponent, Lucas Corvee.

The final match on court saw an all Dutch affair in the mixed, as De Ruiter / Barning played Arends / Vaessen in what was for Arends and Barning their second match of the day. A close match saw the score go the way of the seeding as De Ruiter / Barning were victorious, the score 22-20, 21-17.
