2010 World Badminton Champion Chen Jin has retired and, according to a report issued today in Malaysian daily the Star, he has already taken over a coaching position. Chen will be coaching women’s singles on the Chinese National Badminton Team. Two-time World Champion Zhang Ning is on maternity leave, according to the same report.
Chen Jin was the bronze medallist at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. His last title was at the 2012 Badminton Asia Championships in Qingdao.
