The (BAI) dropped all charges against shuttler Jwala Gutta, who was under the threat of a life ban by her national association, following an incident during the India Badminton League. Things are now officially settled.

“I am very happy with the decision BAI has taken. I will be playing as a part of the Indian team in future tournaments too. It will be an honour to represent the country as always,” Jwala was quoted by the Times of India as saying.
