2010 World Championship runners-up Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong will be reunited for the 2014 BWF World Badminton Championships, according to a report today in Malaysian daily The Star.  Although the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) accepted the invitation in May from the Badminton World Federation (BWF), there was still some doubt as Koo Kien Keat left BAM earlier this year and has since been playing with Thailand’s Badminton Granular team.  The outing may well be only Koo’s second since leaving BAM as Granular withdrew its shuttlers from the upcoming Australian and U.S. Opens citing safety concerns, as reported in the Bangkok Post earlier this month.
