2010 gold medallist Lee Chong Wei will miss the upcoming Glasgow Games due to injury, according to a report today in Malaysian daily The Star.  The report says that the world #1 aggravated a thigh injury during training and that he had posted on Facebook his decision to skip Glasgow event.

In the 2010 Games in New Delhi, Lee won gold in the men’s singles event, beating England’s Rajiv Ouseph in the final, and he also contributed to Malaysia’s mixed team gold when he beat Parupalli Kashyap to help his team to a 3-1 victory over India in the final.
