It was a very happy weekend for former Pan Am Games gold medallist Toby Ng, who got married on Saturday, but in a way, it was the couple who gave their own special wedding gift to the badminton community…

But more than just congratulations are in order for the Canadian mixed doubles specialist.  We are also pleased to present this wonderful list of 25 reasons why badminton is like , which Toby and his wife Carmen have prepared for your enjoyment, and perhaps edification.

Toby Ng has represented Canada at the 2012 Olympic Games and is also a veteran of 7 World Championships, his last being in Nanjing last summer.  He is also a seasoned blogger, a coach, and wears many other hats besides.  We at Badzine wish Toby and Carmen all the best in their life together and a hearty thank you for this amusing and though-provoking list.
