Only a few weeks after Yu Yang announced on her blog that she was to retire from badminton following her disqualification from the Olympic Games, the Chinese shuttler’s name appears in the line up list of her home event – the Li-Ning China Masters, to be held from September 11th to 16th in Changzhou, China.
None of the other pairs who were involved in he Olympic disqualification have entered the event, nor the Yonex Japan Open then following week – Indonesia’s Polii and Jauhari withdrew from the latter two days ago, while Korean shuttlers still await a final decision on a possible 2-year ban from their own Association.

She is a lot better off than the Korean players….
While the Koreans acted very quickly, the Chinese do not see any necessity for action.
