The only top seeds to have won the Croatian International held this week-end was the local mixed duo of Dukinjak/Poznanovic, who beat the Danes Kim Astrup Sorensen and Line Kjaersfeldt in the final of the event for the last match of the tournament. The two Danes, however, had already been standing on top earlier in the day, with a gold medal for Line Kjaersfeldt in the women’s doubles with her partner Sarah Maria Jensen. Kim Astrup, on his end, also scooped gold in the men’s doubles with the rising star of Danish badminton, Rasmus Fladberg.

Germany’s Domke won the men’s singles while Japan’s unknown and unseeded Minatsu Minati took care of the tall Frech National Champion Perrine Lebuhanic, who has discovered new heights since her compatriot Pi Hongyan is out for injury.
