According to an article published today in Today, one of Singapore’s daily newspapers, two-time Olympic silver medallist Yoo Yong Sung of Korea has been appointed as head for all doubles and mixed for the Singaporean National team, succeeding Eng Hian in the position.

“The 38-year-old South Korean, who joins the association on a two-year contract, will begin work with the men’s, women’s and mixed doubles players this month. He will take over the responsibilities of former Chief Doubles Coach Eng Hian, who left last month to set up a badminton academy in Indonesia,” states the newspaper.

Yoo will take charge as early as this month to prepare the team for upcoming events, including the Sudirman Cup, and the World Championships.
