Indonesia’s girls beat Korea’s mighty shuttlers in the last group match of the Uber Cup Qualifying stage in Thailand today, 3-1, with the most impressive victory from Greysia Polii and Meliana Jauhari, who beat former All England champions Lee Kyung Won and Lee Hyo Jung to give their country the winning point. However, Korea still qualifies for the knockout stage as the second ranked team in the group, while India and Japan will be qualified in the other goup. As it stands, Japan and Korea will meet in the semi-final while India takes on Indonesia.
