Viktor Axelsen became the first ever European to win a singles title at the World Championships after he edged out Korea’s Kang Ji Wook 21-19, 21-10 in Guadalajara today. The Dane repeated his previous win over the Korean from the German Open last month. The rest of the titles came in twos with two repeat winner and one double-gold performance by Bao Yixin.
