Former Head Badminton Coach Chan Chi-choi retired this April and He had the position as acting head coach before the official appointment.

In his early years, He Yeming was a player for the Chinese National Team. He had shown his outstanding performance throughout his 17 years of coaching career. He helped two former Chinese national players, Wang Chen and Zhou Mi claimed the top ranking when they started to play for Hong Kong.  Another remarkable victory came when Wang Chen and Yip Pui Yin won the gold and silver medals in the 2006 Doha Asian Games.
