India is still on for a clean sweep on Sunday in their home Gold tournament in Chennai, but instead of the expected all-Indian clash in the men’s singles event, Gurusaidutt will be the only one flying India’s flag in the final as top seed Chetan Anand went down to unseeded Alamsyah Yunus of Indonesia. The other surprise of the final day is the ticket for the win clinched by Singaporeans Yao Lei and Chayut Triyachart, who will try to overcome Jwala and Diju.  As women’s doubles top seed, though, Yao Lei’s other finals showdown with second seeded Jwala was fully expected.

Finals
MS: RMV Gurusaidatt (IND, 7) vs. Alamsyah Yunus (INA)
WS: Saina Nehwal (IND, 1) vs. Wong Mew Choo (MAS)
MD: Sanave Thomas / Rupesh Kumar (IND, 2) vs. Mohd Fairuzizuan Tazari / Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif (MAS,1)
WD: Yao Lei / Sari Shinta Mulia (SIN, 1) vs. Jwala Gutta / Ashwini Ponnappa (IND, 2)
XD: Diju Valiyaveetil / Jwala Gutta (IND, 1) vs. Chayut Triyachart / Yao Lei (SIN)
