The reigning Olympic champions will make it to Paris after all. They settled the matter with their national body, PBSI, after being assured they would be registered for the following Super Series tournament in Japan, the Indonesian media said on Friday.

It had been reported earlier in the week that Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan had threatened to pull out of the after they found that PBSI had refused to register them for the China Masters Super Series.

“We can accept the fact that we won’t be able to play in China but we’re glad that we’ll be registered for the Japan Super Series,” the Jakarta Globe quoted Markis as saying. “We hope that’s the end of the matter and we’ll certainly play in Paris.”
