The Yonex held in Paris later this month will probably be sold out as 90% of the tickets to the general public have been sold already. Almost all seats for the final weekend are gone and only few remain for the first few days of the week. This is a huge – but expected – success for the French Badminton Association which went for their regular venue of Coubertin instead of the expected 13,000-seat Paris Bercy stadium to hold the competition.

More than 15,000 spectators are expected to come see the live action at Pierre de Coubertin Stadium – located near Roland Garros Stadium, home of the French Open of tennis – from August 23rd to 29th.

For the lucky ones travelling to France – here is the official website.

Badzine will be there live with some surprises in store for our readers. Stay tuned!
