One of the highlights of the 3rd leg of the Danish Interclubs on Thursday was the battle between the king and the rising prince. Peter Gade was playing Viktor Axelsen, world Junior Champion this year, in the first match between Team Skaelskor-Slagelse (TSS) and Odense. Gade won 21-17, 21-13 and TSS won the overall tie 5-1.

No major surprise elsewhere, where all top team beat their respective opponents. Vaerlose made it a third success in a row – once again having to go to the “Golden Set” to beat Skoshoved 4-3. Greve edged Lillerod in spite of the victory from Karina Jorgensen, recent winner of the Czech Republic International over China’s Li Wenyan in three games.
