In a match held in Hamburg, Germany on Friday, a B team from Denmark barely won its match against German’s best shuttlers. In the absence of Peter Gade, Jan O Jorgensen and Tine Rasmussen, the Scandinavians still pulled a close victory over their neighbours 3/2.

This was the first International outing for Jonas Rasmussen and Mads Conrad Pedersen who walk in the shoes of Lars Paaske, who retired last month in Paris. Joachim Persson, on his end, had to withdraw in the third game after he felt pain to his knee where his long time injury is still vivid.
