According to the Beijing Daily, Team China is currently training hard in Beijing for their 2011 tournaments, and this includes the preparation for the 2010 Super Series Finals, as well as the 2011 .

Head Coach, Li Yongbo told the paper that China will send their qualified players to play at the Super Series Finals because BWF’s punishment is getting more severe.  That means the Finals will finally be contested by the best of the best, including Wang Shixian, Wang Yihan, Cai Yun/Fu Haifeng and many more (see related article here).

The exception may be the men’s singles but it is merely due to a straight-up lack of Super Series ranking points that Chen Jin and Lin Dan are not qualified for the Super Series Finals.  Instead, the Asian Games gold medallist is training to focus on other tournaments in 2011.  According to the Beijing Daily, the China team will skip the Germany Open 2011 and Swiss Open 2011 because these tournaments clash with the Chinese Badminton Super League 2011, which will be held from February to April 2011.  However, China will participate in the All England Open  and the Badminton Asia Championship 2011 because these tournaments provide higher ranking points.
