The Indonesian Badminton Federation revealed its line up for the upcoming Sudirman Cup held in Qingdao, China, with newcomers and a clear regeneration in the squad. Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan, both injured will not be sent to China, leaving Septano and Ahsan as the new #1 pair, as revealed today by the Jakarta Globe.
If Taufik Hidayat and Simon Santoso are on the list, the name of Sony Dwi Kuncoro isn’t as the former Asian Champion yields to Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka. Maria Febe Kusumastuti, Indonesia’s 2nd ranked women’s singles shuttler and semi-finalist at the Indonesian GP Gold is also not part of the squad, nor are Maria Kristin Yulianti and Fransiska Ratnasari.

Men’s singles: Taufik Hidayat, Simon Santoso and Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka
Women’s singles: Adriyanti Firdasari, Lindaweni Fanetri
Men’s doubles: Bona Septano and Mohammad Ahsan, Alvent Yulianto Chandra and Hendra Aprida Gunawan
Women’s doubles: Greysia Polii and Meiliana Jauhari, Nitya Krishinda Maheswari and Anneke Feinya Agustine
Mixed doubles: Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir, Fran Kurniawan and Pia Zebadiah Bernadet, Debby Susanto
