South Africa dominated the African stage of the Thomas and Uber Cup qualifying, which was also their . After scooping both spots for the men’s and women’s teams for the TUC finals to be held in China next May, the South Africans won Gold in 4 out of the 5 individual events, leaving Nigeria with one title only in the women’s singles.
