The $15,000 Tata Open India ended at the CCI courts Sunday in Mumbai, with successes of the main favourites in most of the categories. India’s Gurusaidutt and Thulasi scooped the singles titles while Korea took men’s doubles and ladies’ doubles, leaving the mixed doubles to Indonesia. India now welcomes a higher ranked tournament from this Tuesday, the Shaheed Dr. K.L. Garg – Syed Modi Int’l India Grand Prix Gold 2012, with some big names as top seeds – Taufik and Saina Nehwal.

Following are the final results of the Tata open:

Women’s singles: 5-P.C. Thulasi (IND) bt Febby Angguni (INA) 21-15, 21-13
Men’s singles: 2-R.M.V Gurusaidutt (IND) bt 4-B. Sai Praneeth (IND) 21-19, 21-12
Mixed doubles: 1-Weni Anggraini/Irfan Fadhilah (INA) bt Alfian Eko Prasetya/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja (INA) 21-16, 21-19
Women’s doubles: 1-Shin Seung Chan/Lee So Hee (KOR) bt 2-Aparna Balan/N. Siki Reddy (IND) 19-21, 21-13, 21-17
Men’s doubles: 1-Ko Sung Hyun/Lee Yong Dae (KOR) bt Cho Gun Woo/Kim Dae Eun (KOR) 21-11, 21-10.
