The 2013 edition of the Asian Badminton Championships kicked off with the qualification rounds on Tuesday in Taiwan.  No major surprise even if India’s Sayali Gokhale was expected to make it to the main draw as did Philippine’s jewel – Malvinne Ann Alcala. But all eyes are turned towards the main draw, where will be making his big comeback – his first match since his second Olympic Gold medal. The chinese takes on Vietnam’s Tuan Duc Do for his frst round but is expected to be taking his first real test against Hsu Jen Hao from Taiwan next round. in the absence of Lee Chong Wei, Chen Long is the strong favorite to take the title.
