Taufik Hidayat did not eight in the battle between Hyderabad and Delhi held in Lucknow this Saturday. The former Olympic and World Champion was beaten 10-21, 7-21 by Malaysia’s Liew Daren, whose team-mates Diju and Sawant gave his team the final point to beat Hyderabad 3-2. Bad luck for Saina Nehwal’s team, who was in the lead 2/0 before being caught back by the players from India’s capital.
