According to different media sources in India, the Indian Badminton League (IBL) could be postponed to a later date instead of the September-October slot it currently occupies on the event schedule. The dates clash with the Denmark Open and some head coaches including Pullela Gopichand have voiced their concerned about having the IBL at a time where athletes are preparing for major events like Superseries or just finishing at the Asian Games. The Badminton Association of India (BAI) has not yet made its decision known about a potential postponing for the second edition of the IBL.
