Malaysian back-up men’s singles shuttler Tan Chun Seang was banned for a 2-year period from any competitions in Asia after he walked out of the national team to become an independent player according the July 1st edition of The Star. The shuttler will not be able to compete in any competition in Asia as mentioned by BAM coaching and training committee chairman Ng Chin Chai after a BAM meeting last weekend.
