Danish sports photographer Preben Soborg passed away on Sunday in Denmark at the age of 70 after a long illness. Preben was one of the best badminton photographers.  He was the then IBF official photographer for a decade, when the world governing body was publishing a printed magazine. The Dane, a colourful caracter, was a friend to many players and people involved in the badminton business and his photographs made front covers of many newspapers and magazines around the world. He will be greatly missed by many. We at Badzine send our condolences to his family and close friends.

The funeral is on Tuesday, November 19 at 11am at the Church of Frederiksburg in Copenhagen.
