The combination of Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong will be no more. This is one of the decisions made by the council of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) this Saturday after the duo had failed to meet the expectations.
“They could be split and paired up with younger players. If the players refuse to part ways, they are likely to be dropped,” said BAM’s President Tengku Mahaleel to The Star. The famous duo has been under the spotlight ever since their first major breakthough in 2006 when they won the Asian Games.
